43rd edition of the African Judo Championships in Oran: the coronation of Algeria during the team competition

The 2022 African Senior Judo Championships ended in apotheosis after 4 days of competition. Seven nations were entered in the team events. Emotion and feeling were there to mark this day. After fierce battles Algeria ends in apotheosis on the top step of the podium.

The Algerian team returned to Senegal for the grand final of the day. The Algerians were intractable against a team from Senegal determined to win gold. Algeria had the last word on the Senegalese who took second place on the podium, followed by Morocco and Cameroon who won the bronze medal. Seven countries took part in this team competition, including Senegal, Morocco, Algeria, Angola, Guinea, Cameroon and Mauritius. During the competition, Senegal beat Mauritius and Cameroon got rid of Angola. Morocco overcame Guinea and Algeria, which won over the Cameroon team. After the repechage battles, we witnessed the two bronze finals - Morocco defeating Angola and Cameroon eliminating Mauritius. And the grand final opposed Algeria to Senegal. Algeria wins the team trophy.
