International seminar for referees and coaches: Abidjan 12 and 13 June 2023.

Forty-four judo professionals from 7 countries including 4 international referees, 20 continental referees, 11 national referees and 9 coaches took part in this seminar sanctioned by a training certificate given to all participants upon completion.

"What we learned was beyond our expectations. All doubts are removed, and we are proud that our referees are now recycled. Many of them do not have the opportunity to travel to attend a high-level arbitration seminar but this time we benefited from it in our own country." This is the statement of Mr. Ballo Mamadou Director of Refereeing of the Ivorian Judo Federation at the end of the international seminar for referees and coaches organized in Abidjan and which ended on June 13, 2023. It should be noted that the maximum age of eligibility for the exam to obtain the continental and international judo referee license is respectively 45 and 50 years old.
