UAJ: The African Judo Union organizes an international level arbitration seminar in Côte d'Ivoire

The seminar, which brought together about forty participants, was held over two days, on 12 and 13 June 2023 at the conference room of the Grand Hôtel d'Abidjan. The goal is to train high-level referees on the African continent.

In parallel with the African Open in Abidjan, the African Judo Union and the Ivorian Judo Federation are organizing a continental seminar for referees and coaches. This seminar is organized to the standards of that of the International Judo Federation held in Coimbra Portugal in March 2023 and is part of the realization of the major strategic axes of development of the UAJ to promote effective refereeing.

Through the organization of such a seminar, Africa Judo can increase the number of high-level referees in all National Federations, consolidate the credibility of African refereeing, implement a referee training strategy aimed at officiating in major judo competitions.

This two-day seminar, on 12 and 13 June 2023, will take place in the conference room of the Grand Hôtel d'Abidjan.
